South Florida is well known for its year round fisheries. Off the coast of Fort Lauderdale,we are very fortunate to have the northbound flowing gulfstream current so close to our shoreline. This current of deep blue water brings to us it's rich bounty of sea life that feeds and supports our local fishing. Our coastline also features an offshore coral reef along with some strategically placed artifical reefs (wrecks), that provides the bottom structure necessary to hold many different species of gamefish.
