This Golden Tilefish was caught on the bottom in 800′ of water off Fort Lauderdale. These tasty bottom dwellers are said by some to be the best eating fish in the ocean. We fish for these fish with electric reels with the option of reeling in the last 100′ or so by handcrank. When these fish are biting you usually don’t have to wait but a minute or so before you are hooked up.
